    Validation Standards
    Applies one of a number of standard cell validation conditions to the active cell(s)
    Data Validation is an Excel facility for ensuring that the data entered into a cell conforms to certain rules, data types etc. It also provides can provide the user with a drop-down box of options to choose from. BF provides some pre-made data validation templates that use this facility. In addition BF has some common inputs for its functions that lend themselves to using Excels Data Validation utility.

    The current range of validation standards are:
    • Valid date.
    • Text.
    • Valid number.
    • Whole Number

    Specifically for BF there are:
    • Base (ie number of months)
    • Month (Number 1-12)
    • A number UP To a certain amount
    • A number AT LEAST a certain amount
    • A percentage (typical range of valid % values)

    The Data Validation standard is applied to the cell you are currently on or the highlighted range.
